Grayson Baden : Class of 2014 : Amanda Mae Photography

Meet Grayson!

Class of 2014 and one of THE MOST SWEETEST girls EVER! She has the cutest little voice and is just the sweetest little thing, she makes my teeth hurt!!

Grayson's day started out at our AMP Headquarters, where she got dolled up with hair and makeup and of course her amazing wardrobe! I was so excited when she busted out her Jessica Simpson Platforms, I just couldnt wait to pair them with her teal pants!

Grayson, was absolutely stunning and even stunned me a few times. Given her sweet disposition and almost soft/shy personality; she totally ROCKED my socks off! She just busted out her model-esc and just stunned me and Shana, my MUA. She was so awesome, that we have now coined a pose after her "The Grayson"( the second image down).

It was an amazing day to be able to capture this wonderful young lady in all of her different selves. From serious edgy, to soft and sweet to even beachy summer, Grayson was just a joy to capture!

To Grayson and The Baden's, thank you all so much! From the fresh salad right out of your garden, to the amazing time we had in your own "backyard creek" to yes, even my bug bites lol, I had such an amazing time!

Grayson, I cannot wait to see what things you accomplish in your future! Good things little lady!! Thank you again and Congrats!!! xoxoxo!!

xoxo,

Amanda

How The Heck Do You Do This?! Amanda Mae Photography

Hey Guys!

This post is for all you photographers out there who are basically at that same point that I was.....which is constantly asking yourself "HOW THE HECK DO I DO THIS??!!!" lol. If you're like me, patience doesn't necessarily come easy lol.

I wanted to share with you the major thing that helped me in my business process. SENIOR BLUEPRINT. I took this course 2 years ago this Feb, moved to a new state, starting my business from the dirt up, there wasnt even a foundation laid haha!

Im also so excited to be given the huge honor of being a Guest Teacher for our new course of students. On my agenda this semester, Marketing Design and The Client Experience through Welcome Kits and Packaging.

I know that trolling around on Paperie Boutique, Google and Pinterest are huge inspirations and to be featured on Paperie Boutique with my packaging was a HUGE DEAL to me haha. Cause I totally was there at your place starting out going..."AHH HOW CAN I GET THAT?!!"

I signed up for Senior Blueprint and it changed not only my idea of a successful business but it changed every thought I had about not only pricing, the process, but the overall look and feel of me, myself, my business and of course my work in general.

I want to be able to provide something amazing to my clients...dont we all! And I really didnt know how to get started or go about that. Courtney of Get Schooled has an amazing corse put together that has helped me tremendously achieve way more then I could have ever imagined.

Courtney is a huge activist for pricing and a heart for seeing not only her friends; but her students and even her "competition" grow and become successful! In her blog post today she talks about how to UNDERCUT OTHER PHOTOGS EFFECTIVELY. Youve got to take a min and read her post, as it is not even about cheating out or smacking other photographers but rather embracing it and making you stand out by the one factor no one else has.....YOU!

She is a total inspiration to me, not only as a business owner and photographer; but as a woman, a mom and a friend.

Join me, Courtney and a freakin' awesome list of Guest Teachers at this year's Senior Blueprint V.3. Class is almost in session and you dont want to miss the opportunity to achieve the business that you have dreamt about, thought about, and if youre like me, even drawn about!

Get on it, paint those little toes of yours and step in the right direction!

Sign Up, class is about to begin!

Xoxo!

Amanda

Happy New Year!!! Amanda Mae Photography

Good-Bye 2013 and Hellooooo 2014!!

Ok, so Im a few days late, whatever! lol

I can't believe that an other year is gone an another one is born. I swear, the older I get the faster the years go by. And speaking of getting older, this year will be my 30th Birthday! HOLY COW?!!! Im doing good, not worried...but anyway.....I just wanted to celebrate this New Year with an awesome shoot I did with several of our new 2015 AMP Models.

It was totally last min and these girls are just amazing! Well, Im a lucky photog; because these are just 4 out of my 22 amazing AMP Models for this year!! This was just a fun little shoot inspired by the dress up and style we all love for New Years. I definitely hooked them up with hair and makeup, that I did myself....OH YEA! Some of the girls stayed a bit as the evening progressed but Ms. Hannah, stayed till the sun went down, which allowed us to capture some ridiculously, awesome night shots with the gorgeous city lights behind her!

A totally, awesome fun time with my new girls! I cant wait to post all of my amazing new AMP Models and introduce them all to you!! Stay tuned everyone!

New Year's Res.....let go of the past and move forward. One of my favorite scriptures "I press toward the mark of the prize, forgetting those things behind and moving forward." I pray an abundant overwhelmingly blessed year this year for you and our families, our businesses and our lives! Letting go of the past things, shaking it off and keep going!

2013, Cheers to you for an amazing blessed year. Thank You Lord for all the blessings, favor, trials and ultimately, You!

Here's to a crazy awesome 2014.....BRING IT!!!

xoxo,

Amanda

Maddy Rasmussen : Class of 2014 : Amanda Mae Photography

Meet Maddy from Stanwood High School!

She's such a sweet heart, has a deep love for her horse, Bella, and is such a beautiful person!

For Maddy's shoot, we did a total house call and brought the AMP Squad over to her home to get her all dolled up for her shoot. Shoes galore and clothes everywhere, Maddy was just fantastic! With the help of her ma, we not only had so much fun; but was able to capture some awesome moments!

We started on their grounds in the brush and weeds, which of course the sun was so perfect! Headed on over to the stables to meet with Ms. Bella, who of course, being a two year old baby, didn't really want to participate in the portrait taking lol. Sometimes that happens with ponies, especially babies and it is totally ok! So, let's just play in the barn and take some pics around there. We were able to snag a few of Maddy in the barn, which happen to be some of my favorites, and even had a few moments captured of her and Bella just being together.

The ultimate moment was when we headed out to the "creek". Knee deep, well for me anyway, because of my shortness; Maddy was all prepared and just sunk right down into the water and worked her best mountain mermaid moves. Popped into the tube for some amazing fun summer time pics!

Thank you ladies for everything! Even for PIZZAAAH!! It was so much fun and Im so happy to see Bella doing awesome!!! Congrats Maddy and I cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish!
