Shelby Kimzey Class of 2014 : Amanda Mae Photography
Meet Shelby!
Class of 2014, Snohomish High School and just the sweetest girl ever! Her day actually started well BEFORE her pictures. Me, Shelby and her Mom, Jackie, we all went shopping together!!! OMG it was so much fun, from coffee, to shopping till literally Shelby was about to drop, to even being able to pick out an outfit MYSELF for Shelbs!! So fun and I knew that Shelby was going to have an amazing shoot!
Shelby's day started like always, up at our Show Room getting things set as she gets into hair and makeup, when Jackie decided Shelby needed some extra shorts.....so off to the store she ran! lol. Once everything is ready to go and Shelby was looking stunning, we hit some local spots, then it was off to their home where her Dad had his totally awesome vintage car. Now, Im a girl lol and I can tell you the different types of shoes, colors and skirt lengths but I cant really tell you anything about cars haha. I do know that it was green and sounded really really loud when it started and of course, next to Shelby, it photographed just as gorgeous!
The weather was perfect, the light was stunning and Shelby was just a trooper! To Shelbs and Jackie, ladies thank you so much! I know you both had a wonderful time as did I and thanks for those yummy sandwiches!! lol
Love you ladies!!
xoxo,
Amanda

Maddy Bye Class of 2014 : Amanda Mae Photography
All I can say is OMG! lol
From Maddy's AMP Destination Shoot and it only took me a couple of months to post this! lol.
Anyway, Maddy is one of the most beautiful young ladies outward and inward. She is also one of my AMP Models of the 2014 Class and we had scheduled her shoot for a small place called....MONTANA!
Seriously!! Her Grandpa lives in Montana with the wonderful dinner makin' Grandma, his gorgeous Collie, Lacey, and their two beautiful horses. Our Road Trip began at 5am where we made our trek to Big Sky Country. The first three hours me and Maddy were so excited, takin' excited selfies and just cheering it up....only to have that fourth hour kick in and out like little lights were were......I must confess apparently I was sleeping so "sweetly" that sweet little nose sounds were coming from me haha.
We arrived just in time for Dinner. At the top of the hill, over looking the most beautiful site ever; all viewed from their wrap around deck in Grandpa and Grandma's gorgeous three story home. After the tour of Grandpa's amazing train world, their beautiful home and the horses, we took a moment to relax out on the deck to watch the sun set in a gorgeous purple, pink and orange sky.
DAY ONE:
Maddy's shoot began with hair and make up and wardrobe styling. The sky began to grow dark as a storm was coming. With us in the middle of a field, you could see the lighting and hear the thunder. We just looked at each other and decided...hmmm, why dont we just wait out the storm lol. With in 45 min, the storm had past the sun shone like we covet here in Washington. The Horses were brought up and I was just in awe at how beautiful the entire scenery was. A gorgeous view, a gorgeous girl and two gorgeous horses......it was perfect! We had ended our day down at a friend's barn with their horses and just up the road was an old historic school house. The day was so perfect!
DAY TWO:
So, day two began with a tourist expedition to The Gates on the Missouri River, where we had an amazing river ride up and down. Grandpa then took us touring all over Helena, MT. Over to Downtown, through some amazing old historic mansions, and then to this stunning Cathedral. We were hoping to get a peek inside; but it was closed for the day. However, the light was perfect and the building was stunning.....so we continued Maddy's portraits, and got some of my favy shoots! Lets just say Disney Princess...I THINK SO!
The day was to end with just me and Maddy down on her Grandpa's land in the fields and such. We were hoping for a river or a creek of some kind; but to no avail. Maddy had this crazy idea to just drive and go find one....with in the middle of the field, seeing deer and feeling the hot sun, a song came on that totally confirmed our river search...JUST AROUND THE RIVER BEND. We laughed and squealed like little girls, and into the red little Prius we go onto an unknown travel to an unknown river.
As our theme song was playing, we found it....well, rather Maddy found it! We parked, de-shoed and went swimming!
A small blog post could not contain the amazing moments, time and memories that we were able to have. To the Bye Family and Grandpa and Grandma, THANK YOU! Seriously, one of the most memorable shoots of this year and I am so honored and so blessed to be apart of Maddy's life! Thank you so much and Maddy...you are stunning, beautiful and one of the most amazing young ladies I know. Im so excited to see how God is going to bring your future and unfold right in front of all of us. Continue to be yourself and continue to be true to Him. Totally love you a bazillion times a bazillion!
xoxo
